I'll be at the 2/6 meeting with cash in hand to join.

Who should we ask if we're allowed to try one out and what ammo to bring?

so, I PM'ed with FA223 about what/how lil buck could shoot. He is a member, is this going to be OK?
    Or are there age restrictions?

Buck, as big a fan as I am of Lil'Buck, I think he is going to need to shoot FA223's guns in semi-auto during the regular group shoot. We need to fly as close to straight as possible. I want this event to be so successful that we, not only have the one in September, but have several more in 2009. That way, we can attract all the NFA guys in the western part of the state to join our club.

ETA: Buck, shooting full-auto is difficult for a 200 pound man to stay pointing down range. A kid or 130 pound woman would have a lot of trouble shooting safely.

Kaos, you bring up a good point. There MAY be owners of full-auto firearms who are willing to let some of us shoot them. There may not. That is entirely up to that firearm owner. IF one of the NFA guys is kind enough to let you shoot their firearm, I think it goes without saying that the shooter should supply the ammo and make sure that said firearm owner gets at least one cold beverage at Drew's on them. Please work that out in PM with that person. This shoot will certainly not be a free-for-all on the NFA arms of a couple of guys.

We can expect there to be alot of guys at this shoot. I know that one of the club's collector's will be there with his f/a 1919 and BAR. Another member has an M16.

I have a little more than a month to come up with something for these guys to shoot at!

ETA: I plan to offer one product per quarter at the shoots. The next product will be at the June shoot...so if you are thinking of buying next month's shoot-related product, think again!

Its going to be great for both PMSC/PAFOA and us as a group.
