?? I have CCP Can I Open carry?

Hey guys new to this site, I have had my CCP for about a year now and still not to clear on this. I know with a CCP I can carry loaded concealed anywhere but the restricted areas but can I also carry a loaded revolver open? Please help me out on this, I hate haveing to make sure its always covered. where can I open carry? And since I have a CCP it doesnt restrict me from open carry?

Yes, you can open carry. You may open carry with or without an LTCF; if you do not have an LTCF, you cannot transport a handgun in a vehicle unless it's a trip to and from the range with no stops in between. You must also not be prohibited from owning firearms (which I assume you are not).

Right now, we are in a State if Emergency, so an LTCF is required to carry in public or vehicles no matter what.

You mentioned you have a CCW. Was it issued by Pennsylvania or another state? I ask because in PA they're called a License to Carry Firearms.

Anywhere you can legally CC, you can open carry.

The exception to this is a place that has visibly (or otherwise) informed you that weapons are not permitted on that property, as per the owner or company policy.

And boy do we love getting wind of those businesses :-D (To AVOID!!)

ok so I can walk thru walmart or sheetz or places like that with a loaded revolver in its holster in plain sight not covered? If a cop sees it what are they going to do or say?

yes walmart and sheetz are OC friendly...at least the ones I have been to....as for the cops....that can vary from " hey nice glock,colt...etc" to "get on the ground now" lol, but typically they seem to just ask if you have a LTCF...WHICH IS NOT NEEDED TO OC!...but that seems to help them justify you carrying.
