I would have easily made it in for TSO this past December had I tried. They didn't even stop me as I entered, I figured there would have been some form of security... YMMV.

They where doing pat down at the hockey game I went to in December.

their security check is a joke every time i go there. i actually left my holster on (empty) just to see what would happen. my holster is OWB and pretty substantial. Guy patting me down grabs it and says wtf is that. i say a gun holster. he literally said "oh ok, go ahead." their website says specifically no fire arms. so i don't carry there.

At the Pens game tonight, they were asking everyone to take metal objects out of their pockets, and then using wands. I don't know if that's the new standard procedure, or if they were just worried about a rowdy Pens/Flyers game.

Saw Van Halen there on the 30th last month and hmmm I never saw any security, just the person scanning tickets at the door. People smoking in the hallways, etc. Only person I saw with a badge was the "crossing guard" helping ppl get across the street. Forgot to look if he was carrying. I didn't really notice any signs prohibiting items.

I think it's different for different acts. We went to the Circus and there was just ticket takers. Pens games are bag searches and pat downs. I went to Lady GaGa with my fiancee and I felt the guy should have at least bought me breakfast the next morning.
