    Default MRE Bread Recipe?

    Anybody have any ideas or a recipe to make a type of bread that I can vacuum pack and store long term that’s similar to the MRE breads ? I already cooked up some hardtack just looking for something I don’t have to soak first.

    Unless you’re sinking the money on a retort sealer I think you’re out of luck. Flour stores for years in an airtight container with an oxygen absorber, and wheat for at least 30 in the same conditions.
