Re: Walnut Creek Rifle Club is NOT closing
I've been out there 4 or 5 times in the last two weeks and everybody is on the rifle range. It doesn't matter what day it is as the workers are also working Saturdays and Sundays. You can't see the workers anymore, it's like they are leaving some of the hill up while they work behind it. I do not know if they will level it out flat or leave it how it is.
If you look at the picture above by ar15jules you can see only half of the earth mover. This pic is a couple weeks old. Now you cant see any of the earth movers.-Champion5-

Re: Walnut Creek Rifle Club is NOT closing
Machinery will be brought to the club to remove OLD mounds of dirt that once served as back stops. As of now, they are a deflection hazard. The club is taking a very strict stance on safety. The range will be open once the directors deem it to be safe to do so. I hope you will renew your membership once the scheduled work is completed.

Re: Walnut Creek Rifle Club is NOT closing
Removing the mounds should help a lot. I hope the rifle range doesn't need to be reconfigured to shoot north instead of east. Would be a lot shorter. What a nightmare. Good luck at your meeting.

It has been closed almost a year now. Thinking about going to Gem Outdoors.
