    Default this is disturbing

This attack happened in my town a day or two ago. A friend of mine and I were watching this video and got in the discussion of being a witness and using force to help this individual. I personally see it to be necessary but legally dont see it to be fit. Yet I am not sure with the new extended castle doctrine. I urge discretion in watching the link it is very very disturbing.

you are legaly allowed to assist !!!!!
give me a minute and i'll find it for you. but i know i've read that you can come to aid another person..........Hell ya!

    (1) It is proper for law-abiding people to protect
themselves, their families and others from intruders and
attackers without fear of prosecution or civil action for
acting in defense of themselves and others.

Already posted in the lounge. That bastard in the dark shirt would have been ventilated, whether he was beating on me specifically or as in the video. Blue vest may have gotten a piece of that action too.

Oh my gosh! Those other guys are just standing there watching the guy get pounded!

Does the castle doctrine apply in a public place? (i.e. there are innocent bystanders in the area you feel you need to shoot a criminal)?

I mean deadly force in assistance, weighing the situation of the man being unconcious and brutally beaten...obviously needs assistane...I mean just getting envolved in fist to cuffs is an option...but who wants to fight 2 people?

Especially in Philly....hm. Will watch this thread....interesting.

Sad we have come to a day in age where people are afraid to assist and just stand, watching.

So that's legal in Philly even though

    1. You can't open carry in Philly with a regular LTCF and

    2. There might be women/children in the immediate area?

I sense shooting one of these guys would be the right thing to do, but you might not feel like it for the next six months while the legal system hashes it out...????
