Centre region activity
I saw it mentioned that it doesn't seem like there is a lot of activity in the Cebtre Region thread and area. Well it kinda comes and goes.
So here is what I am proposing (with the help of a couple friends, they know who they are ):
How about a meet and greet? We were thinking of sometime in later January or early February (PSU is back in session, those shooters who were elsewhere for the holidays are back, etc.) The weather may be not so nice that you can go out and shoot but it's always nice indoors and you can shoot the bull (and talk guns and such) pretty easily.
It could be at a restaurant (pay as you go), a meeting place (if a free one could be found), or at my place (everyone byob and snacks to share). Depending on where it is would determine what time of day to have it.
So, what does everyone think? Let me know. You can post me or send me a PM.Ron USAF Ret E-8 FFL01/SOT3 NRA Benefactor Member

Re: Centre region activity
Sounds like a good idea to meet some new people with similar interests.

As always, I am down for it as long as I'm not working.

Re: Centre region activity
The ones we've had in the past typically were a Saturday afternoon/evening or Sunday afternoon due to most peoples work schedule. Let's see how many are interested and then we can set a date that is best for all.

Re: Centre region activity
Sounds like fun, but I'm tied up both weekends of Jan 16/17 and 22/23.
Early February would be great because it would give us something to look forward to, since February is the suckiest month.

I'm interested. All depends on the day and time but I'd love to come and hang out.

Re: Centre region activity
Looks like we've heard from most of the "locals" and the weekend seemed to be best. My vote would be for Feb 4th or Feb 5th in the afternoon or evening. That will give any of our PSU kids time to get moved back in and settled into classes and that's the next time my schedule is really opened up. Now the what and where part is up in the air still.

Not sure if I'm still going to be in the area come February, but if I am, I'm in. I'll keep an eye on the thread. Once you wiser folks have a time and place, be sure to post it up!
