Eh...I'm the resident gun nut, and everyone I know pretty much knows I carry 24/7 whenever possible.......there's a joke at work that if we ever get robbed everyone is to yell for me, LOL

I often OC weather permitting, so pretty much anyone that notices knows. Most often I don't think many people notice and some that do usually ask intelligent questions and end up with a flyer and some knowledge.

My wife and son know I carry and some like minded friends.

My family and close friends know I carry. I do not intentionally keep the fact hidden bu do not go out of my way to advertie either.

I do not make an effort to hide it, unless I want to be concealed and do not want people to know. I will freely and openly talk about guns and carrying. My family knows I carry, as do friends.

So...how private do you keep the fact that you carry? How many people know? Just your family and a few close friends? Everybody you go out with? Nobody but your spouse? Nobody, period?

Just curious. I assume maybe it depends on personality and reason for carrying....

All the "gun people" in my life know i carry, and what i carry, and what bullets i carry in it. LOL.

However, i don't generally tell non gun people. There are people that have known me for years that have no idea.

This is actually probably the safest happy medium...haha...I know people who would probably be freaked out if they knew they were shopping with me and I was carrying something in my purse hahaha. But others that would think it was great.

I have nothing to hide. I normally carry openly so anyone who sees me will know I carry. All my family knows I carry, and damn near every relative of mine also carries a gun. All my friends know I carry, so do my neighbors.

I'm a person of the 'old school. With exception to certain events or surroundings I believe that carrying concealed is the act of cowards, assassins, and men of nefarious intentions. ..that gentlemen carry openly and afford others foreknowledge that I am armed and prepared to defend myself.

You didn't just quote history. You stated you agree that those that conceal are cowards (except in limited circumstances or settings).
