When I carry concealed, it is concealed. Both visibly and verbally. Only a select few people know that I'm armed whenever I do conceal, and they are either people who carry as well or can keep quiet. When I carry openly, I obviously don't concern myself.

I open carry most of the time... so it is out there for everyone to see.

However, like Hawk said, when I conceal.., it's concealed.

I may or may not carry, but when or if I do, the fewer who might know, the better.

Wow, guess folks who prefer to conceal, like me, are cowards in your world, that's pretty harsh. The statement itself doesn't make sense though, in my opinion. If you think that conceal carry is cowardly then there are NO circumstances in which you should find exception.

It's an opinion, I know, but its borders on the ridiculous. And I'll defend myself even if I'm not armed.

To OP, my immediate family and a very few select friends know.

I normally carry concealed and the main reason for this is the older I get the less I want to be hassled or asked stupid questions by strangers or idiots wanting to know if I am a cop, why I carry, why do I need to carry, or having the cops being called [man with gun] and have to deal their ignorance etc.

You'll know I am carrying when you hear the BANG
