It's been over 30 years since I wore a shoulder holster, but when I did, the pistol and mags were worn not under the armpits like in your pics, but lower and closer to the belt. Additionally, the pistol was oriented vertically. Mine was a revolver with a 6" barrel, and the muzzle was at or below my belt. Mine was rather comfortable.

For the sake of comparison, the holster I bought was $70 and I purchased it in 1979.

You couldn't *give* me a $15 dollar holster. I'm not trying to sound like a snob, but I demand a lot from a holster, and I'm pretty convinced that my demands cannot be met at that price.

See if you can lower the gun and mags. What you have there looks like it would chafe all day long.
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

I have one almost exactly like that. I won't ever wear it again, here's why:

in my defense about the price of it, i only bought it because i needed to hit one of the dealers minimum orders for a credit card purchase.

I have a rig similar to that but not at $15. The issue I found is that it is a "universal" set up so it is made for left and right handed people. That puts the cross strap for the shoulder at the center of the shoulder pads and makes the rig sit back too far. A proper fitted shoulder harness will have the cross strap set back further so the rig sits on the shoulders properly and does not pull back. This is the reason I don't wear mine much and will be getting a nice new one made for a righty and made of leather.

I'll try to find a good image showing it.

HA! I have an Uncle Mike's that does the same thing to my 380 I call my 380 the SQUIRT gun b/c it squirts right out of the holster onto the Lowes floor while I'm loading 2x4s. Nobody noticed but I'm always checking on it now.
OP-you get what you pay for... and BTW yes you are riding too high.

Op, the gear is riding too high lower it and let the tie down straps keep the gear in place if that is what you are trying to achieve by riding so high.

Secondly that holster is built for military and security use meant to be worn over a field jacket where it is more comfy because of the added padding, google some pics of our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and you will see them wearing that holster BUT not over a Tee shirt.

As others have said, it is riding too high. I have some similiar that I will never wear again. Myself, I prefer a leather rig that is much more vertical. IMO, with those horizontal rigs you have much more of a tendency to sweep your vital organs on a fast draw or when holstering.
Surely some will say I am wrong about this, but to each his own.
