A further and maybe unnecessary clarification -
All the extra weight at the muzzle is what curtails the recoil.
That may change the dynamics of the recoil but the actual recoil force is a function of weight and velocity only. It doesn't matter particularly where the weight is.
It'd be interesting if you weighed each of the guns that you mentioned..

I'm really being pretty sloppy with my terminology in this thread. The weight at the muzzle will help muzzle jump/rise, the weight being at the muzzle obviously will have no more effect on actual recoil than any other part of the gun.

    Sorry for the ambiguity.

I wish i could weigh them all next to each other. It'd mean i still had all three guns....i wish.

Well, Finally gave up on trying to get my hands on one in person and went for a Saiga 12 - I know, Two different Animals, But the Saiga has been on my list for a few years now, Figured I'd treat myself.

I hope Kel-Tec gets it together, this looks to be a Promising Pump Shot gun.

    Wow!!

Even after the Saiga Conversion and a few 20 Round drums, I'm still ahead of the game.
