    Default Longer pages

As in more relpies per page. Some other boards I visit (this is still my fave) it seems like the page just keeps going. IDK, maybe 20 replies or more per page. Just less clicking "next page", thats all.

    Something to consider. Thanks guys.

there's already an option in your control panel to accomplish what you want.

    do this:
click on user cp> edit options> adjust the "Number of Posts to Show Per Page" part in the "Thread Display Options" section and save it.

    brownman, just an FYI.
Changing from the default can generate some headaches. Especially when others permlink to a post, or when someone tells you to see "Update on page 13". You will have to do some figuring to find what post the are talking about.
The 2A does not GIVE us the right. It tells the gov they can not INFRINGE our right.

This is true. The "permalink" is broken, you should click the post number for a real permanent link. Also you should say "update in post #X" because then everyone can find the right place.

Gotcha, so they say pg 13 but, since my pages are now longer it could be pg 8 or something. Making it harder to track and navigate threads and posts.

    Correct??

I'll probably just leave it the way it is currently set up. No need to create more pain in the ass.

Change it to make it more convenientfor you. If someone wants to direct you to a post a few pages back they should give you the post # not page #. that said I have my setting set at max per page and have yet to even come up with the situation.
