Re: stores, ranges, and rod n gun clubs
It depends on where you live, or how far you're willing to drive, but here's a few places;
Bob's Gun Shop, aka Lethal Weapons Training Academy. http://www.lethalweaponstraining.com/
Indoor range (rental), guns, ammo, and good advice/training.
I belong to Gem City Gun Club; http://www.gemcitygunclub.org/
Lots of outdoor ranges, indoor range, must be member.
Keystone is in town; http://www.keystonegun.com/
Indoor range (rental).
Lawrence Park has a gun club, basically under the Nagle Rd bridge.
State game lands, on Sampson road, near R97. Need a permit or hunting license.
No range, but sell guns/ammo;
Keystone Armory; http://thekeystonearmory.com/
Edinboro Outdoors; http://www.edinborooutdoors.com/
There's a new gun shop in North East, that seems to be willing to do what it takes to earn your business; http://www.facebook.com/pages/Valley...57859354234510

Welcome back. Missed you.
The SGL permit issue has been discussed; http://forum.pafoa.org/general-2/124...range-use.html
Basically, no more free ride. Either have a hunting license, or buy a users permit.

Re: stores, ranges, and rod n gun clubs
I'm not a hunter nor a furtaker so I'd have to buy a license to use a PUBLIC facility?
My LTCF should be good enough if any kind of permit/license is needed.
.........and I thought they did away with public pay toilets..........Last edited by Michele; December 22nd, 2011 at 01:41 PM.

As I understand it, hunting fees paid for the game lands, so charging non-hunters sort of makes sense.
Better off at a club anyways.
Wow, I just noticed, N.C. ???? I'll bet there needs to be a translator when you try to talk with them Rebels!

I've been there, well, in Greensboro. My brother lived there for a while. Nicest people in the world, but think every road is a Nascar track!
