Bring your supervisor to my lawyer's office and we'll have a chat. Oh yes, bring my gun back too, because if you don't, I'll recover those legal fees per state law.

I've spent hours reading. Thus why I posted. I haven't seen anything for quite a bit and was not sure if any new laws had passed that I should be aware of. But thank you.

My guess would be that it's their way of registering firearms. They can't register a handgun when you buy it, but the police keep records of everystop and there's a log of everything said on the airwaves. Your serial number is in that log.

how are firearms that have no serial numbers handled? (blank serial plate - not scratched off or obtained illegally)

should said plate be stamped with something made up?

Depends if the cop knows the law

    A. The answer to the cops question can be, "5th amendment. I'm not answering questions. "

    2. Never carry a gun you dont want to lose. If you ever have to use it, its gonna be gone at least for a while. I dont think George Zimmerman ever got his Kel tec p11 back after defending himself from Trayvon Martin

I believe he DID get it back and then attempted to auction it off. Not sure if it sold or not.
