It is awesome to be in the woods and very cool to be a hunter. Great video post Flash. It's amazing how curious black bear are.

Here's some more bears climbing ladders, but I don't know man, one swipe of the bear's paw and his rifle could go off flying with only a one handed grip on it.

What is he holding in his left hand? God, if he had to fire that gun one handed he'd better hope the first shot was all it took.

I'm glad that has never happened to me. lol

The worst I've had was the one and only time I turkey hunted. I had my back against a tree calling away. I heard something coming up from behind so I slowly leaned over to look behind me to the right. I didn't see and thing, so I centered up again and started leaning left - then immediately to my left a couple feet away was a bobcat with the most confused look on it's face. I was a bit startled, and said outloud "well, hello there Mr. Pussy Cat." It took off, I relaxed my sphincter.

Thats what i like most about hunting! you see some great stuff out there, yesterday i saw a little gray fox or a small coyote, during archery season i watched this big bear from 200 yds out walk right up to me,i was in a blind not a tree stand so i had to scare him off,as it was he got real close....here is a bad cell phone video i made, the vid came out bad but it was still cool never the less!

I was about 30 feet up in my stand on day 1 of rifle season when i watched a grey squirrel run around a 70 yard area for 20 minutes. after i forgot about him he came running back down towards me and started climbing up the tree right next to me (the one my ladder is hooked up on) and got eye level with me about 4 feet away at most. it was very entertaining.

I had the same thing happen with a coyote a few years back.
