felons and ammo

Can someone point me to the statutes regarding providing ammo to a felon? I've done some searching and cannot find anything relevant.

I understand a felon cannot be in posession of ammo. I'm wondering what, if any, charges an an dividual would face for providing it to a felon.

USC TITLE 18 - CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
PART I - CRIMES
CHAPTER 44 - FIREARMS
Sec 922

(d) It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or otherwise
dispose of any firearm or ammunition to any person knowing or
having reasonable cause to believe that such person -
(1) is under indictment for, or has been convicted in any court
of, a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one
year;
(2) is a fugitive from justice;
(3) is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled
substance (as defined in section 102 of the Controlled Substances
Act (21 U.S.C. 802));
(4) has been adjudicated as a mental defective or has been
committed to any mental institution;
..... prohibitions continue ....

As for the penalties,

Sec 924

(2) Whoever knowingly violates subsection (a)(6), (d), (g), (h),
(i), (j), or (o) of section 922 shall be fined as provided in this
title, imprisoned not more than 10 years, or both.

To be VERY clear. I did not, do not, will not.

It was a question asked by a friend of mine who was asked by a felon to get him some ammo. I told it him to stay away from that bullshit. Now I can show him what would happened if he got caught.

Thanks for everyone's help. I see now I was not looking for the statute anywhere near where I should have.
