the week B4 archery bear season....
As usual, I see bear in the area I hunt regularly but never see them in season. I walked up on this sow w/ 3 cubs on 11/7 while turkey hunting.

They were about 75 yrds away when I first saw them(only saw the sow and 2 cubs at first) and crept up on them standing right out in the open to w/in 45-50 yards. Then the wind swirled and she caught my scent. Watched them for at least 20 minutes. Picts are from my 'Droid. Looks like a freakin' painting!

You may have a camera effect applied.. check your camera settings..

I'll check but I think it's just due to the camera being 5MP. Left my good camera and the pistol back at the cabin on this particular afternoon stroll.
No turkey(s) either.

I seen 6 bears during archery season in october and i have yet to see one this week althought i did see alot of tacks and scat

isn't bear season open now for archery?
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
