I checked the Gem City website and there didn't seem to be any information on that course. Do you have a contact there? If I understand it correctly don't you have to have a current member sponsor you in order to join? I would love to join due to the proximity of the club to my employer. Thanks for the ideas guys keep them coming.

There was a couple of phone numbers in the Sunday Times-News...I'll check for it when I get home tonight.

I didn't see that requirement on their membership application. I'm not a member, I've only been there for 3-D archery shoots, years ago.

They have bullseye shoots on Wednesday nights, I was planning to go tomorrow, I'll try to get more info. You're welcome to come along if you wish.

Had a good time. They let me shoot, and didn't even charge me. I need to practice, and I'm looking for a red dot sight of some kind.
The basic handgun course is just that. Basic. They go through safety, and some accuracy techniques. The guys there didn't have too much info.
    Call Joe Paradisi.
I'm going to try to get over there again tomorrow night for open shooting.
    Practice, practice, practice.

I don't know where you are geographically Truckman, but Walnut Creek practices on Sundays and shoots league on Wednesday. 7PM I believe.
