Default Transfer from a PA resident to a TN resident

I lived in PA for 14 years. Now I live in Tennessee.

I'll be going back up to PA this week on business. While I'm there I will be tattooing an old friend in exchange for a S&W 442.

What do we need to do to keep the transaction all nice and legal? Can we just go to a gun shop and have them do the transfer? Since I am now a TN resident is there something else involved?

    Thanks,
    Donno

The gun will have to be shipped to a FFL in TN, where you will complete the required process there before taking possession of the gun. You will not be able to legally return home with the gun in your possession.
