Are North Face and K2 anti gun.

Was looking for new ski boots and saw this video. The first couple seconds of the video is what got my attention. I was a bit surprised to hear this. These two companies lost my business.

Note how the background music is about how drive-by shootings are fun, and at 1:38 they look like they're shooting a glass bottle as if it were a clay pigeon, confusing legitimate uses with criminality (although I must admit it's a shame to be littering bits of glass in that beautiful wooded landscape, even though they didn't actually fire).

I'm going to go ahead and say that the companies listed probably sponsor the skiers not the video. I highly doubt big name companies like that are going to support a video with background music that uses the"n-word" explicitly.

Idk if I would take that as anti-gun considering the background music is "get your gun ****"

more or less a poor marketing ploy of their "URBAN" video

Also, note the comments. Apparently the choice in music was done without any regard to the lyrics. Hardly something a major player like North Face would do. I agree with Kyle.

Yes, those were my exact thoughts. Those companies just sponsor the skiers and they put them in the beginning of the video to put their name out. Watch any action sports video and this is what you'll see. I doubt the companies even know the video exists.

Don't listen to the music. It sucks. Pay attention to the commmercial at the beginning. He even says "first a word from our sponsers". Am I ready to much into this?
