I had a similar one yesterday in Brodheadsville, a place where for years now nobody has hardly ever said a word or cared.

Leaving the prescription line in Rite-Aid and a guy says "nice gun" so I said thanks and went about my business.
Thinking back I really don't know(or care) if he was serious or sarcastic. LOL

Am I the only one here that read the title and thought that maybe Connal was wearing an early Halloween disguise?

Nah Streaker, I dress like that the rest of the year. Halloween is when I wear blue jeans and a T-Shirt lol.

Mark, country fair in the grove. We had a belated birthday party at my moms house. She ordered pizza, and told me to get my guitars out of her house lol.

Coke? It's for wanna-be yuppies or DINKs.

Here in B.F.E. everyone drinks Mountain Dew, the kind with real sugar in it.
You are both wrong, Dr. Pepper is the way to go.
    Some people just plain suck.
If you're gonna be dumb ya gotta be tough.

The most common comment I get when carrying openly is "Is that a real gun?", second most common is "Is that loaded?".
I resist the urge to be sarcastic or smartass with my answers, I try to put forth a good image.

I don't even know where to get a soda these days. The last time I had one was either at "Gorman's" or "The Double Decker" on Main Street in Ridgway back in the 1960s. I think it was 10¢, you could get a bottle of pop for a nickel but there was a 2¢ deposit on the bottle.

I don't have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.
