Default New Glock 17 RTF2: They Can Still Be Found

This is one of a few guns I wish I hadn't ever parted with. So, I picked up another.

I was surprised and pleased to find that Tanner's had a few. It was test fired in March 2011, but I was told they had received a small batch from Glock. It's back home again. I truly don't know whether or not they're still in production, but I suspect not. If you want one, Tanner's is at least one place to find one. At $469, that's approx $50 to $80 less than the current Gen 4 offerings.

I just want the slide off an RTF2 gun. The curved slide serrations are so much better.

    Very sexy.

Thanks. Of course, a Glock is a Glock is a Glock, but I really think the RTF2 was the best in overall ergonomics and appearance (for me). I can't even remember what I wanted more, or enough to trade my first, but I'm sure it felt like the right thing to do at the time.

    I looked for weeks for a rtf2 glock 19 or 23

I couldn't find one that wasn't beat to hell or extremely overpriced though.

So I settled for a regular gen 3. But I do like the rtf2 a lot.
