Default If the government refunds our tax dollars...

For those of us who are news junkies, there is quite a push right now for an economic stimulus package which is looking like an $800 per taxpayer one time rebate. So the question is, if the government goes through with this, what will you do with the extra money?

I have been considering sinking the money into ammo...

    Save it--

If everyone did this, it wouldn't have the effect that the government had in mind and they would have to offer something more to kick start the economy.

Everyone seems to think the government is doing them a favor by granting them an allowance from their own money.

Go out to eat at the Cannibal Restaurant...

A cannibal was walking through the jungle and came upon a restaurant operated by a fellow cannibal. Feeling somewhat hungry, he sat down and looked over the menu...

    + Tourist: $5
    + Broiled Missionary: $10.00
    + Fried Explorer: $15.00
+ Baked Democrat or Grilled Republican: $100.00

The cannibal called the cook over and asked, 'Why such a price difference for the politicians?'

The cook replied, "Have you ever tried to clean one? They're so full of crap, it takes all morning."

I can pay off two or three credit cards with it. Or two and 2/3 months of my share of the rent. Or a month and a half's worth of all the bills I'm responsible for. Or throw it all at my motorcycle payment. Or put it toward paying off my Civic. Or give it to my grandmother toward what I've spent on HER credit card in the past that I never paid for.

    Or a thousand other things.

I guess I'd have to see how muchI got before I made the decision of what to use it for. More than likely it'd sit in my bank account and just get used along the way for whatever needed it.

Oh, or I could put it toward my fiancee's orthodontist bills she's going to incur, so her dad will think more of me (Hooray!) and not have to foot the whole bill, despite making the offer...

I could probably go on all day about what I COULD do with it.

I think about it this way:

I do not need a handout. I do not want a handout.

What I do want, is for them to stop stealing my money and allowing me to keep more of it to do with it what I see fit.

Want an economic stimulus package? Cut the federal government spending.

You'll be amazed with what happens.

Amen to that, any money I get back will go directly into my savings account and/or investments.

But then how will we pay for socialized healthcare and college education!? You obviously haven't thought this through!
