You're right. My apologies. It was the Encore, not the Contender, I also have a Pro Hunter. These barrels are no longer made as far as I know. There was a definite problem with the plastic fore end (memory gets bad after as long a day as I had yesterday. Sorry again) holding the pin in place, not the pin itself which is solid metal. Currently the 12 GA barrels for these are for turkey hunting, not trap. It's one thing to fire some rounds for patterning and then for hunting. It's quite another for a fast 25 rounds and then another 25 shortly after and another 25 after that in a trap shoot. I had real fun with these barrels, but using them for trap was a lesson. I now use a BT 99.
