    Default sbr a saiga?

    has any one Sbr'ed a saiga ? i wonder what would be involved? I was thinking of doing one chambered in 5.45.

    I considered it as well. you have to find an Ak105 FCB/GB combo piece. The shortest you can go is 12.5". Unless you have a barrel press and rivet jig this all has to be done by an NFA manufacturer and transfered to an local NFA ffl. The cost just isn't worth it.

    If you want to go shorter you need a special twist krink barrel and a krink parts kit, real expensive for a poor ballistic rifle, this is a collectable piece.

    Thanks Regal. You confirmed my suspicions. I had a feeling the costs involved would derail this idea.
    Do you know if any one sells a draco in 5.45?
