Yep. The positive Heller decision was good for us, but it opened the doors for every state to require registration, a license to merely own the gun, and not allowing the carrying outside of one's home.

However, Washington DC was never meant to be a residential city - only a seat of government.

I thought judges were supposed to interpret the Constitution, not just go by what one fourth of the nation's politicians thinks is acceptable.

If anything, he should rule that it's not permissible, because THREE fourths of the nation's politicians thinks it unacceptable.
