Gun Shop Tour
Hi all,
I may be getting a new territory which will get me out of NJ and into PA more. I'm wanting to tour as many gun shops as possible as I travel around PA. Does anyone have suggestions? GPS coordinates or just street addresses will guide me there if they are not too far off my routes.
Thanks in advance.No Signature Required

Re: Gun Shop Tour
TargetWorld does not like woman shooters in their store. And if he brings one to their store she will come away believing all the bad stereotypes of gun owners.

Re: Gun Shop Tour
There are a few different threads in the Region/County area with store reviews. If you can narrow it down to an area or some counties check there....PA is a big state.

Re: Gun Shop Tour
tmascal, if you cross into PA via Bucks County there is Ready Aim Fire just across the Turnpike bridge, and Mike's Gun Shop just up the road from the bridge. There is Surplus City in Feasterville, PA and Classic Pistol in Southampton, PA. Tanner's, Clayton's, Targetmasters are in Central Bucks, DefCon One in Quakertown, Philly has a number of stores to visit. Did I miss any?
Work your way west and keep a log of your travels and report back occasionally...Mike45

Re: Gun Shop Tour
Thanks All.
I plan on keeping a log. My region will be ALL of PA, upstae NY west of Syracuse and West Virginia. I'll be doing a LOT of driving. Keep them coming, I'm building a database of gunshops in the GPS so I can stop by when I'm in the area.No Signature Required

Re: Gun Shop Tour
Along the border with NY SW of Corning on PA route 49 in Knoxville is a store, Hunter's Supply. Not much inventory but good prices. They also do online.
Further down the road in Westfield Is Ackley's, a much bigger store but their prices are higher than Hunter's Supply. Elkland has a range open to the public. Shoot rifle/pistol for free. outdoor only. PA route 49 is off US 15 just before the border. Elkland is 10 miles west of the 15 Knoxville 7 miles further and Westfield about 7 more miles.
