    Default USAammo.com

This past weekend I got to test some ammo I ordered from www.usaammo.com. Both in 9 mm and .380; FMJ and JHP rounds.

The .380 JHP in my LCP worked flawlessly and grouped fairly well.

Both JHP and FMJ in my P95 again worked flawlessly.

My neighbor put 125 good rounds through her Beretta 92FS and I put another 15 through it.

My order was 8 boxes - 400 rounds total of .38 Special, 9 mm and .380 all for under $100 with UPS ground shipping.

    I'd use them again.

I jumped on the same deal and I've shot about 400 rounds of the 9mm . . . I will definitely buy more. They are loaded a little lighter than Remington UMC and WWB, but I find that they are also more accurate.

Same here. No FTF in my Glock though. It was surprisingly clean too. I'd definitely buy from them again, though I wish I got a 2nd certificate for the huge discount

Their ammo seems like a sweet deal, maybe I'll have to get myself some.

I wonder how their AR's are... seems like a topic for a new thread.

I was thinking about ordering some... Can you guys tell me if the casing they use for 9mm (or any caliber) is brass? The ones shown in the pictures look like brass, but I couldn't find it anywhere what they use....

Three things about USAammo, taken from other forums...

    1) AR 15 KB. IIRC this was a S&W M&P15 and USAammo fessed up that their powder supplier (non-USA) had switched formulations or something to that effect. To their credit USAammo bellied-up to the bar and accepted liability, and last I heard, were going to replace the AR

    2) Thread currently active at NJGF. 9mm 115gr resulted in multiple rounds keyholing. Switch ammo to another manufacturer and had no problems. Currently examining ammo looking for cause. USAammo has not yet responded to e-mail inquiry (about 4 days)

    3) Again 9mm 115 gr load - you are correct, they are loaded very light. Chrono'd at USPSA match and did not make minor.

All ammo makers have their problems from time to time, but, personally, I'm going to give USAammo a little more time to get their manufacturing process and QC squared away.

My only ammo order from USAammo (9mm, .380 Auto) all worked flawlessly.
The prices are good and I'd use them again.
