Default Colt Trooper Mk III .22 6"

Picked up a Colt Trooper Mk III .22 6" today. Looks like it's been barely used, however when looking at it at a certain angle, it looks like there are some splotch marks made by some kind of liquid. I used a microfiber cloth to try to clean it off but it didn't come off.

Not sure what it is, but like I said, you can only see it at a certain angle and I got a great deal on it, so it doesn't bother me much.

I also got a spare 8" barrel as well.

I was thinking about putting the 8" barrel on instead, any thoughts?

I'd keep it original unless the 6" barrel was shot out. But a Colt MKIII if its in pretty good shape may have some collector value. I wouldn't change anything unless it was a worned piece of crap with no history. If it looks good and locks up tight leave it just like it is.
