Welp, gonna go with the FNP-45 Tactical/Glock 19 combo. It seems that any differences between the USP and FNP are minimal, and in terms of standard specs, that the FNP may even better the USP. I'm so excited.

Eventually, I'll also purchase a standard FNP-45 and Glock 17 as backup.

Expect a range report in the coming months!

I would go with the FNP-45 myself, because i don't think the HK USP is the best .45 that HK makes. I think that honor goes to the HK45.

I went with an FN for my zombie slayin' pistola, but in 5.7x28mm instead of .45acp.

Hard to go wrong with either of your final choices though.

Definitely. If they had made the HK45 in the Elite model just as they did with the USP, I would have paid $2000 for it. What a combination that would have been for a polymer handgun.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

Yeah, the HK45 was actually my first choice when it came to this selection, but when I really thought about it, I didn't want to be left with 10 rounds/magazine. It just doesn't sit well with me. The less reloading I have to do mid-zombie-assault, the better.
