American History in Photos!

It looks like the U.S. Government actually had the right idea with this one. The Library of Congress has started a pilot program on the popular photo-sharing website Flickr. They have already posted over 3000 photos from the Library of Congress collection. They are even inviting Flickr members to tag photos and leave comments, hoping that someone out there may be able to give some photos a little bit of history with identifying information. Major props to whoever came up with this idea.
