Default Interarms mark x, good deal and any info?

Monday I picked up an interarms mark x in 308 win for $250 did i get a deal or did the gunshop get me? Its a 22" bbl black monte stock bell and carlson and it has leupold rings and bases, rifling looks real nice no rust or worn off finnish, anybody kno the twist rate for these guns? I picked it up as my mid caliber gun i have a 223 and I'm havin a 350 rem mag built at income tax time for my "big" gun, also plan on using 165 nosler bts for deer and probly 180-200gr partitons for bear any favorite loads for these bullets and how they preformed on game mostly deer bear and elk, thanks all in advance

They're a good basic Mauser action. I think they've been imported under the Charles Daly name, maybe Remington (model 798 or 799) and others. I would have grabbed it at that price.

I like Hornady bullets so I would probably start with 150 grain Interlocks and use them for everything. But there is nothing wrong with the Nosler BTs.

Sounds like you got a good deal. I own two Interarms Mausers. One is a Whitworth. They are made by Zastava. Here are a few pics of my Whitworth . . .

Here is a pic of a standard Mark 10 7x57 with some pretty nice wood.

Interarms Mark X are well made rifles based on the 98 Mauser action. CZ made them. $250 is a steal.
