I finally had the opportunity to go to Bennett's Gun Shop today. I'm sorry I didn't find him sooner. John was a helluva nice guy and a pleasure to talk too.

He had a great selection of items, new and used. Lots of ammunition, even had some (vintage) 22LR (sorry it's gone now)

    I will certainly be back!!!
Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

A great thread to read through. Very educational. Personally I don't think I would have a problem doing business with this guy.

You might some day. I have a place near Sonestown and have been going up since 73. When I sell firearms up there I do the transfers at Dixie's in Hughesville, North Mountain Guns & Arms on route 42 and have done a couple at the hardware store in Dushore. Clint at North Mtn sold a friend from Dushore a Bushmaster at a fair price.

I thought I knew all of the gun stores in the area. Where is North Mountain Guns & Arms on route 42?

Have you been to L&R in Laddsburg north of Dushore off 220?

On 42 south of where 239 starts, on left, in basement. Clint is just starting out and only had a few guns when I was there in October. He may be by appointment still. His cell is 570-772 1928. I have not been to L&R
