Default Best Sights For A Glock 19

I am looking to upgrade my s Glock 19's sights. Don't know much about the different type so I am looking for some information.

Also, is this something I (newbie) can do on my own? or where can I get it them install?

Factory Glock night sights work just fine for me.

Many folks do it themselves, but I would suggest not trying without a proper sight pusher. Some folks do the rear sight with a punch, but it can be a real pain and with night sights you run a very good chance of breaking the tritium capsules. I wouldn't suggest that method. Also, the front sight requires a slim nut driver. Don't forget to use a small amount of LocTite (blue NOT red) on the threads of the nut.

Any shop with a smith should be able to do it for you. Classic Pistol in Southampton and King's in King of Prussia come to mind.

As far as which sights, I have the factory night sights on my G23. I installed AmeriGlo IDots on my G22, and they were fine as well.
