Props to you trying to give them information regarding open carry but your a little misinformed with regards to what you posted:
, If I had walked out of that Bank and across the street and he looked at me, he could not have done anything...if I did Not have an LTCF and stepped into my vehicle, and the pistol was Unloaded, he then again could not have done anything (If it is Unloaded and when you get into your Vehicle, you put it in the glove Compartment, your ok...how was he to know I wasn't going to be going to a range to shoot and didn't or did have an LTCF?
Correct information:As far as that goes if you have a unloaded pistol and going to the range there can be no unnecessary stops. Before that you had used the example of open carrying into a bank. If you had unloaded your firearm after going into the bank that would be illegal.
Also it still remains unlcear whether a police officer can ask for your LTCF when your carrying in your car. Some say that there is RAS some say there isnt. So chances are he would ask for your LTCF which legally you might have to give him .
