    Interested in seeing how this goes. Ive seen a few complaints on how these lowers hold up to 5.56, but work great for 22lr. Not as much material or as good material as the Cav Arms variety.

    good luck with it. i had the same thought on doing a lightweight but heard alot of issues with them.

    Cool. Best of luck with it. Just for the record, I would rather shoot myself in the foot than admit I am using some ideas from RJF. looking forward to seeing what parts you choose.

    lol i dont think RJF is that bad at all. a lot of what you see on TV is BS.

    alot of it was fitment issues mags didnt drop free etc. the guy seems a bit cuckoo too. his own youtube page doesnt even have his vids on it anymore. lots of gun vids but nothing I could see about his lowers. it also has a plastic fire control group. itll probably do well for plinking but id be real hesitant to beat the hell out of it.

    im aware. and there are several companies doing so with the ar platform too. bushmaster even has a composite lower now.
