    Default Jared - Willow Grove

Went with the wife to Jared because she needed a ring resized. Big bold letters on both sides of the entrance prohibiting any kind of firearms in their store.

Luckily I wasn't carrying at the time.

Wasn't shopping, was getting a ring resized. I bought her wedding ring there and the service plan covers that stuff.

It's a jewelry store. I can see their paranoia and won't begrudge them.

Just wanted to point it out for everyone else... just in case.

Thumbs down Re: Jared - Willow Grove

i would not go there just because of their crappy commercials on the radio. man those girls sound terrible singing (only at jareds). sounds like two cats in a bag slowly sinking in a river. this just reinforces my original opinion of the place.

Every Jareds across the country has the same signs. It looks as though it's actually etched into the glass, and says "No persons shall carry, possess, have under the person's control convey or attempt to convey a firearm, concealed firearm, dangerous ordinance, handgun, or deadly weapon, on or onto this land, parking lot, or premises." Probably part of their construction specs. I can think of no reason to go there anyway, with or without these signs.

Unless the armed robber was "educated" in Philadelphia public schools...
Of every one hundred men in battle, ten should not even be there. Eighty, are nothing but targets. Nine are the real fighters, we are lucky to have them since they make the battle. Ah, but the one—one is the Warrior—and he brings the others home. —Heracletus

    I sent them an email.

    Good morning.

It has come to my attention that your stores do not allow the otherwise lawful and legal carry of firearms into your stores by patrons and customers.

I'd like to request the reasoning for this restriction.

It stands to reason that only people who are willing to break the law in the first place would violate this policy, as criminals inherently do not abide by the law. Someone who intends to "rob" your stores would not be concerned about a "No Weapons" policy, as has been established at so many other retailers, and has been violated every single time those stores have been criminalized.

However, other, law-abiding, safety-oriented citizens who wish to spend money in your stores, who also hold the values and rights of the United States Bill of Rights dear, are, by your willful and deliberate decision to keep them away, prevented from spending money in your stores.

    Why?

    Sincerely,

    Mark Fiorino

I am having a problem seeing what you’re seeing (paranoia) how are they safer by disarming LAC patronizing their stores. Surely you don’t think this sign is intended for criminals
