Default PA resident w/ CO concealed carry permit

Just wondering if I'm legal with my CO permit that is still good for a few years or if I need to get a PA permit since I'm now a resident here?

CO and PA honor each other's permit but since I'm now a resident of PA, I'm unclear on the legality. Any insight would be appreciated.

As long as CO did not invalidate your permit when you left the state, and the 2 states have reciprocity, I'd think you're OK until your CO permit expires.

There's that darn 1000 ft. of a school thing though.

Getting a PA LTCF is a (usually) quick & easy process and only $20 for 5 years... I'd just go apply to your sheriff's office

You might want to also inform the issuing authority in CO of your new address.

I would not screw around for that lousy $25 and apply for a LTCF and as mentioned............the process is easy simple and quick.

Thanks guys. I didn't realize it was only $20-$25 for a PA permit. My CO permit ran about $300 if I remember right. I was also within the window of military service so I didn't have to take the mandatory class either or it would have been even more expensive. For $25 I'll just get a PA permit! Thanks!

Your ltcf should only cost $20 now.
I'm not sure how long Adams county takes to issue. It could be immediate to around one month. Pretty much just fill out the form and that's all.

I know that it took me 5 minutes in GBG Westmoreland. I wanted to walk out after filling out the paper work but they told me to wait.
