    Default My range is gone

Our whole neighborhood is washed away in Hillsgrove. 7 mobile homes including mine. Pluse many more. The National Gaurd is there.

Yes I am fine. This was our weekend place not our perminant home. But 3 others close to us were full timers and I think lost everything.

    I'm sorry.
There certainly has been an overabundance of rain in some areas.
I live on a hillside. It’s a bitch in the winter, but at least flooding is a non issue.
I hope you and your neighbors can get through this.

    that sucks!

make feel a little better about the gyser in my basement last night.

the sewers in the street are old and not large enough to carry the rain in a torrent such as we had in philly last night. i was in my kitchen and i heard it like it was raining in the basement.

the back pressure blew the c.o. cover off the fitting and the water was spouting about 4' of the floor.

20 minutes later i had 1-1/2' in the entire basement.

30 minutes later it all went out the same way it came in.
