i wanted to get a can for my glock 17 and i just need a simple rundown on what is involved

I think I read somewhere in here that the Lancaster Co. Sheriff will do it. You could always form a trust, which allows you to skip the fingerprints and local LEO sign off, among other benefits, but the upfront cost is about what your first can will cost you. And if you go that route, I highly recommend you go to a good firearms atty (I used Joshua Prince, princelaw.com) and don't do the quicken willmaker thing. You get what you pay for there. Good Luck!!
