Berks County LTCF @ the Reading Airport

In Berks County the Sherriff’s office is located in the court house. Now I have only been to the Courthouse for Jury duty but I remember being frustrated parking in the garage and walking to the Courthouse in the rain. It’s a pain in the azz! As I really wanted my license I printed a copy of the form out at home to look over and I realized that they have a satellite location that is open Monday through Friday 11:00 to 7:00 at the Reading Airport. Last Friday I went to the airport around 12. I walked right in and found the small little office they have there with a deputy inside. I was the only person there and the whole process took about 15 minutes. I couldn't believe how easy it was and no wait at all. The Deputy told me that they haven’t processed too many licenses at that location as people don’t seem to be aware they can get it done there. Anyhow, if anyone is in berks county head to the airport to get your license! LOL

Don, I picked up my LTCF there on August 9th. Got there just prior to 3 PM and it took about 10 minutes. Super convenient and easy to accomplish.

Wow, thanks for the heads up. One of the few things I hate is parking around the courthouse (though I like the architecture of the building itself and usually admire the place once there).

That will come in handy when I am due to renew, straight down 183 to the airport.
