What did you buy yourself today - PART 1

[Ronin]

Bought Mrs Ronin a BRN-180 upper in .223 Wydle. Installed it on the lower I was originally building for my 6.5 Grendel. Since I have no 6.5 Grendel ammo, I figure I'd give up my lower and build another one. We took the BRN-180 out to the range this afternoon. Only ran a couple of mags through it to get it sighted in and to make sure everything was working. So far so good. It seems to be a shooter, but will see when we get a chance to shoot beyond 100 yds.

Picked up a 3.5lb single stage match trigger this week and a couple other goodies for the dpms build. Grabbed a grip pod from priority one yesterday...

And most of the parts to start another upper...just need to decide on caliber and buy a barrel...or just say f it and build another rifle entirely 🤣 have everything but the lower and buffer tube leftover from the first build...Kinda like the idea of a 16” low profile 308 carbine...

I don’t think this is the bucket of parts president potato head had in mind when he gave out the covid monies...
