Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
My first semi was a marlin 989. My parents were kind enough to allow me to purchase another since I displayed some level of responsibility with the single shot.
I grew up in Brookwood in Bensalem. I used to walk the streets at 15 with a 22. off to the woods no one ever called the cops.
I was stopped by the police once and all he wanted to know was if it was loaded.

Thrillz, ^ I have one of those and love it. Just a heads up. The set screw for the windage adjustment kept backing out on mine and eventually I lost it. S&W sent me another.

Just arranged to purchase another German “P” pistol, an H&K P8. It’s basically the 9mm version of the USP with two modifications: conventional rifling instead of polygonal, and a different style safety that more closely mimiced the functionality of the P1 (Fire, Safe, Decock vs Safe, Fire, Decock).

Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
Thanks for the tips on the elevation screw, Ill keep an eye on it. Its pretty much brand new. The guy I bought it from bought it for his wife for a defense gun from Freedom Armory, and I guess they shot it there after buying it, and she didnt like it so they wanted to return it but they wouldnt take it lol. I guess it only has 2 mags through it, if his story is correct. Either way, Im happy to have it.
And to stay on thread topic, I picked up 2,000 rounds of some Mini Mags to feed through my 2 new 22 toys lol. And when I got home I had a package waiting for me with a couple boxes of Underwood Xtreme Defender 9mm and a linear comp to knock the rough edges off my 8" AR pistol lol.
