That's awesome man! Well done. When you are ready to get your FEL, give me a call if you have any questions about the process and building / buying storage magazines.

There*s barely any forums or FB groups, just business cards and long phone calls.

So I*m building a WWII 3 Inch M5 anti-tank gun. Hopefully get it restored and blank firing next year. I will have to obtain my FEL to buy powder to load live rounds. Projectiles will have to be machined because originals are rare collectibles. Brass is pricey but I found a few. Primers will need to be adapted. There*s a lot to figure out between here and there but this project is off to a good start and I got my Form 1 approved.

Setup a motion-activated camera on one entrance to the barn that my transmits video to my phone and I was sitting 50 yards away on the other side on top of a shipping container. 3 hours and no joy last night. Tonight is our night shoot at the range, so I'll be back Saturday night outside the barn with same setup. Holy crap we have a lot of deer come into our goat pasture at night, it was fun watching a buck harass the uninterested females.

Been wanting a diesel generator for the farm for a while now, plus could sometimes use lights at the range for night shoots and such, so figured a Diesel Light tower with 120/240v, 50/25amp would be perfect. Yesterday, purchased a 2015 Magnum Pro MLT3060M 6 kW Light Tower for $1,850 plus auction fees for out the door price of $2,157.10. Has 4,156 hours on the meter, so plenty of time left on this diesel engine. Gotta go pick it up next week in Maryland (5+ hours away) or maybe outsource the pickup. 3rd time I purchased from this government auction sight, always a good deal. Once we get electricity at the range, I'll probably rip off the light tower and then just have a generator on wheels.

Auction site showed video of it starting plus guarantees it works.

    Auction details: https://www.ironplanet.com/jsp/s/item/5290311

    It retails for $9,513.00

That's at Ritchie Brothers. Sound good, I wouldn't mind having something like that but that's a little steep for my needs.
