OK, glad you're aware of that. There are a lot of reproductions out there and it sucks for those who don't know it and pay big bucks thinking they're getting an original. It looks like it would be a blast to fill with nails and stones and shit.

Very nice - though I would imagine it still lacks a little being semi auto. Kinda that itch you can't scratch.

At the price of 5.7 right now, I'm not sure i'd want full auto. I was shooting it out back last night and my wife asked me how many rounds I shot. And complained that I'm just burning money.

J. Stevens model 1894. This would later become known as the "favorite" rifle. I've narrowed it down to @ 1900 - 1914 manufacture. I don't know if I can get it any closer, unless someone here knows any tricks in dating.

Yeah, .22 LR. It's a swinging block (kinda functions like a falling block) hence the trigger guard. My uncle had one of these when I was a kid and I thought it was cool. Saw it when I met a forum member to buy an upper a little bit ago and had them hold it for me, until I could get back down to pick it up.
