They are advertised as being compatible, however the front locking lug on a JTS mag is slightly larger, so saiga mags only lock in with a tiny amount of the front lug. It may eventually cause enough wear that they don't lock in anymore. Drums won't work at all due to the mag well.

Factory mags aren't hard to find though

Picked up a can of ZQI .308 from another member here for just under $.49/round. Good for general shooting and decent brass to reload.
Also picked up a 10/22 that came in today. My eldest took my last takedown when he moved out of state so I'm been looking for a bargain. When I saw 10/22s drying up recently, I broke down and paid retail (but not panic prices!). Lightweight, convenient and threaded for the suppressor.

picked up this ruger pc carbine flag series in 9mm yesterday from Morris muzzleloading and gun shop in grove city. I stopped at a few shops and this was calling my name. also picked up a KCI 50 round drum mag and 33 round stick mag. 200 rounds so far and gtg
