As I’m sure you know there are people who collect anything and everything. Kind of like what I said lever and pump action guns.

Maybe that’s not the deal in this case Mandy Ed had one that ran great and this guy is stilling on top of a pile of .45LC that he wants to shoot and only has a 8mm Mauser collecting dust in the corner doing him nothing.

Either way that was the deal.

I was thinking about selling all my Colts and S&W's , and collecting Taurus and Hi-Points?

Good for him and good for Ed which is all that really matters in a trade/
Sure, for the parties involved it's a good trade if both people walk away happy with what they got.

(I have never met a Taurus collector but I'm willing to believe there's at least one out there... I knew a guy once who collected nothing but MP-25s.)

There’s entire message forums and face book groups of them just like pretty much every other firearm has.

I know some of the cow boy action shooter guys were big in these at one time. After they were tuned by gun smithed they were well liked. Biggest issue was the tube mag figment was poor which led to most of the issues.

My buddy wanted it for his wife and he knows I collect German made rifles so it was a win - win for both of us. I bought the Taurus new several years ago from Acri's gunshop in Mechanicsburg for 450 so the trade was a no brainer for me. The Taurus was still unfired and he was very happy to get it.

Went out to King Shooters Supply on Saturday to pick up my 1000 9mm LRN bullets. Nice little shop, worth the drive from Harrisburg. While there I saw they have everything to build an AR, I picked up a UTG A-2 stock kit for my first AR build.

$72 Before tax. 115 grain lead round nose with the lube groove. They even had some .38,.40, .45 bullets in stock, I feel like they make them on site.
