I saw this 1974 Colt Detective Special in a gun store last Wednesday and my will power to leave it alone ran out today. It's missing the ejector rod head. Got a blue one on order because it was all I could find.

Didn't have to buy it, a customer I do a lot of work for gave it to me. He ordered 2 from R Guns ($225 each) and gave one to me. Found .32acp from Ammoshoponline.com (Norma, 50 rnd box for $24.99 - ordered 14 boxes total for me and my customer (he is paying for it).

I will let you know when the ammo arrives. I can say that it has a very heavy trigger pull but I think it will shoot fine. The two that came in both have excellent barrels, and really next to no wear anywhere. I think they had sat in storage for a long time because the comomoline was HARD.

Pretty nicely, but not as good as a VZ50/70. Cool little pistols and you can't beat free!

I enjoy my vz50 more than I thought. Really fun gun to shoot and no slide bite, like I get with the Walther's of similar design.
