I mean, I obviously bought it at some point, but don't recall doing so.

I was digging around looking for the case of Wolf 223 I'm gonna post up for sale (shameless promotion) and I found a second box under some ammo cans. It was heavy and unopened, with no markings on the outside aside from the mailing label which had partially been torn off.

What IS it?

Holy crap!!! A whole friggin' thousand round case of Golden Tiger 7.62x39!!!

And here all this time I've been rationing the remaining half case of that stuff that I've had for years.

I didn't take a pic, but here's one from teh interwebs.

I wish I could find more of that laying around. Very good stuff. I'm rationing what I have left as well, haven't seen any for quite some time now.

Which reminds me - I need to look for my Norinco yellow box ammo. I have half a case and didn't see it where this was at.

Maybe I tucked it into an ammo can.

Or you're just getting old. Exposure to lead is known to cause memory problems as well.
