^^nice and nice! I go through lever gun phases every now and then - lol. Next up probably a Marlin guide gun and a 38-55 (prices are the most reasonable on this one seeing ammo is scarce I think, but found a guy that reloads) and a 45-70. Congrats and thanks!

Love it. Henry makes such a beautiful gun. Nice pickup!

Almost forgot! Picked up a Stribog recently and just finished tricking it out. Love this gun.

Very nice. A friend has one for sale and a part of me wants to buy it from her, but then I always end up buying something else.

Sure is. And night and day difference. You won't be disappointed.

Been on my grail list for a long time. I am NOT disappointed. If it's a clean specimen you should snap it up for certain.

I've got one made in 1918.

    Congrats!

I have the exact same model, blued, in 327 Fed and it's the only Henry I own. This model is heavily based on the Marlin lever action which was a selling point, and Marlin didn't make a 327. They did make an 1894 in 32 H&R Magnum, and people have rechambered those in 327 but the 32 H&R Marlins are much too pricey due to collector interest.

I had to work on my Henry 327 because it was not smooth feeding; the extractor was ground to a sharp point and did not catch on the case rim in a positive manner. I sent it back to Henry and although they were very nice about it and very fast with the turnaround, it still had the same problems. Easy to be fast if you don't do anything . . . not saying they did that.

I got a couple replacement extractors and modified one suitably to provide 100% extraction. Chamfering and polishing the chamber mouth and feed ramp took care of feeding.

Anyhow, YM will probably V, because mine was an early gun and I know a shooter with a fairly recent 327 gold Henry and it's a solid performer. I can't abide the gold ones, but they fit your pimptastic requirements.

Oh, I'm very familiar with the SJC Titan. My wife has had one on her SIG 556 rifle for many years. We call it the Loudener because it's loud as fuck. When she used to run it in multi-gun competitions, the RO would have to stand back a bit more than normal because the sound was deafening. When we go to the range, I usually stand behind her in the parking lot while she's shooting, lol. It's a fantastic break, otherwise.

I was real tempted earlier this month to buy the 1903. But then SHOT Show happened and now there's a bunch of other guns I want, lol.
